The core board contains all essential features, including MDB master, MDB slave, and Executive interfaces, alongside a dedicated RFID card reader, a USB-A power output, and connectors for expansion boards. It represents the culmination of our 20 years in vending machine electronics development. Leveraging different firmware applications, this board serves as the heart of all GalaxyVend products, whether used standalone or with additional expansion modules. Beyond our current catalog, we can design and manufacture custom internal or external expansion boards tailored to your specific needs. Our modular architecture and pre-existing codebase allow us to rapidly transition your ideas into prototypes. Following the Proof of Concept (PoC) phase, you can choose between a dedicated custom board or the modular system, depending on your project’s budget and volume.
*** GalaxyVend MDB-Executive converter (standalone or for developers) ***
This product provides protocol conversion between MDB payment systems—including coin acceptors/changers, bill validators, and cashless devices or credit card readers—and an Executive vending machine.
Two firmware versions are available:
Standalone Converter: Adds MDB support to older vending mach ines.
Managed Converter: Connects via USB to an external device (such as a PC, Raspberry Pi, or Android tablet), allowing your application to seamlessly manage MDB systems (including bill recyclers and up to two cashless devices). This second version also includes WiFi functionality, connecting directly to our SaaS backend for easy integration with any web application.

The easiest way to connect to an MDB machine as a cashless device (credit card reader), this solution is ideal for applications using mini PCs, Android tablets, or SBCs like the Raspberry Pi. It supports MQTT over WiFi (using JSON messages via our SaaS backend), allowing for seamless integration with web applications. When paired with our proprietary RFID reader (sold separately), adding customer identification, closed-loop payments, or modern technologies like QR and mobile payments becomes effortless.

The easiest way to add MDB support to your vending machines development, especially for applications with mini PCs, Android tablets or SBCs (Raspberry Pi or similar). It also supports MQTT over WiFi connection (JSON messages through our SaaS backend). With the proprietary (sold separately) RFID reader, adding functions for customer identification, closed loop payments or even modern technologies, such as QR payments, phone payments, become very easy.
The self service controller is an out-of-the box controller that you can simply use to build your own vending machine to operate self service systems (car washing, kiddie rides/amusement parks, access control doors/turnstyles, etc.). It can be configured as a change machine, tokens dispenser, tokens and subscription tokens dispenser, subscription tokens recharging, single digital output timer, etc. It can work both offline and online (with our SaaS backend), in order to add reporting and remote control functions.
This device is an out-of-the-box product, that allows connecting any MDB peripheral to a pulse operated vedning machine. This applies not only to old machines, but also to self service systems, kiddie rides and other pulse operated machines. It even allows connecting MDB credit card readers and using up to 8 physical buttons, it expands card payments up to 8 values (prices). Extremely easy to configure (using our configuration application) and even to connect to our SaaS backend in order to manage it remotely through MQTT (JSON) by sending instructions to send pulses, receiving activity information, errors, etc.
*** GalaxyVend MDB parallel in ***
This expansion module, together with GalaxyVend core board and the appropriate firmware simulates an MDB bill validator to the vending machine, accepting parallel input from a 10 pin connector compatible with standard parallel protocol (for example, Comestero RM5 parallel) and/or a parallel Innovative Technology bill validator (for example, NV9, NV10, etc.) - pin-to-pin compatible with the Innovative Tehcnology parallel bil validators. It is intended to allow connecting multiple parallel devices (for example several NV9 devices) to an MDB machine, for application requiring payment systems redundancy (for example, if one bill validator is jammed, the customers can also use other validators to perform the payments).
*** GalaxyVend keypress simulator ***
This device is an add-on for GalaxyVend core board, that can be used to connect on older vending machines mechanical keyboard interface to automatically select products, without customer's intervention. It's flexibility allows to be connected with the core board holding different firmware versions (MDB master, MDB slave and MDB-Executive converter). This feature allows you to develop your own application to handle payment systems, to emulate a cashless device or to handle payment systems and connect to an Executive machine and, in the same time, to send commands on machine's keyboard to automatically select products after payment succeed.
*** GalaxyVend RFID reader ***
The RFID reader can be connected to the core board in a large amount of applications and toghether with various GalaxyVend expansion boards. It allows you to add functions for MIFARE Classic media serial number reading from your applications. This gives you the possibility to identify customers by their ID, add closed loop cashless functionalities, limit customers to a number of daily transactions and many more.It is sold separately, single version (IP66 protection class).
*** GalaxyVend 4G WiFi router ***
There are 2 router models, one as a pen drive and one that supports external antennas for poor covered locations. The main function of this devices is to allow WiFi over 4G communication for all GalaxyVend devices, in order to connect to our SaaS backend for remote control and management.
